I hope you will be able to come see one or both of these new shows that I have work in. They are both huge group shows showcasing regional and national talent.
I am proud to have been accepted to exhibit in the juried Art St. Louis Exhibition XXXI. The opening reception is November 14th.
Secret Stream, oil, 12x9, is one of three paintings I am exhibiting in the 2015 Small Works Invitational at OA Gallery in Kirkwood.
I hope you can join me November 20 from 6-9 pm at the opening reception for the 2015 Small Works Invitational presenting talented, award-winning artists from around the region and across the country. From realism to abstraction, the subjects are eclectic and diverse, showcasing the talents of over 60 artists, many who have never before exhibited in the St. Louis area.
I read an interesting blog post by Heidi Harner the other morning about abstract vs. representational art. She said her favorite way of describing abstract art is "like music without lyrics"...to read the post click here.
Come see this wonderful abstract mixed media painting Garnet Codedby Portland artist David Castle at the 2015 Small Works Invitational at OA Gallery.
