Final for Julie's Path

This the final shot of my new painting "Julie's Path" (20x16, oil on canvas). I painted this from a photo I shot at Julie Weigand's home where I took a workshop given by her in October. It was one of those last really warm days, although it started out quite cold. I remember how cold my feet were early in the morning after walking through the damp grass before Julie set up for a demo.
For this painting, I opened up the trees along the ridge because I wanted to show the sky coming through the trees.
