Evening Light, oil on panel, 12x16. I painted this piece after doing a miniature that I felt could work for a larger piece. I used thin washes of oil for the sky that almost look like watercolor.
This is so beautiful. I love the colors. I especially enjoy the group of trees that are slightly in the middle (but not quite). Great placement. There is a definite feeling of depth in this piece. Beautiful.
