Invitation to view new landscape paintings at the Gateway
My invitation for the art fair weekend at the Gateway. Hope folks come out even if the weather isn't great. At least it isn't hot!
New landscape painting: searching for a title
This new painting is close to finished but needs a title. I need to lighten the trunk of the foreground tree and a few other tweaks, but it is close to finished.

This painting is another in my series of favorite places to drive in Colorado. This aspen view was near Shadow Mountain Lake which is in the Grand Lake area just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. So many of the people who visit my studio in the Foundry recognize the subject matter of this series because they've been to Colorado. It's fun to talk about favorite places, towns, etc.
